Roe Suspended For Friday's Game at UND
11/12/2009 - 1:30 AM
St. Cloud State will be without top scorer Garrett Roe for Friday's game vs #2 North Dakota. According to a St. Cloud Times report, Roe was suspended for Friday's game as he "broke a team rule." Both Roe and Coach Bob Motzko would not comment on the details of the violation of team rules, but both claimed Roe's black eye had nothing to do with the suspension.
Roe has only missed one game in his career at St. Cloud State and recently notched his 100th career point in a game at Michigan Tech. The junior from Vienna, VA has two goals and six assists for a team-leading eight points this season.
Both of the games this weekend will be broadcast on KVSC. Coverage starts at 7 p.m. Friday, and 6:40 p.m. on Saturday.
