Softball wraps up Rebel Spring Games with Win

Junior Emily Edgerton’s four runs batted in helped lead the St. Cloud State softball team to a 15-11 win over Southern Indiana on Saturday to finish off the Rebel Spring Games in Florida. Edgerton went 4 for 5 from the plate and also had three runs scored. Also contributing at the plate was rookie catcher Mikayla Hogan. The Chippewa Falls, Wis. native batted 4 for 4, chipping in an RBI and two runs scored.
The Huskies finished the Rebel Spring games with a 3-7 record and are now 8-8 on the season. SCSU returns home on Friday to take on the College of St. Benedict at the Husky Dome. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.
