The St. Cloud State Football team lost its first game of the season last Saturday to Augustana to a score of 41-27.
The game would feature two of the top offenses in the NSIC conference this season, as both teams would combine for a total of 900 yards of total offense. Nate Meyer had an impressive day through the air, completing just under 80% of his passes for over 300 yards and three touchdowns. Matt Hentges also had a career day for the Huskies, hauling in 9 passes for a career best 128 yards and a touchdown.
The Huskies look to rebound this Saturday as they return to Husky Stadium to play host to undefeated Southwest Minnesota State University during the annual Celebrate! St. Cloud State game.
