The skid continued for the St. Cloud State volleyball squad this past weekend as they lost their 9th straight match, this time at home in straight sets to number-one ranked Concordia St. Paul 25-10, 25-16, 25-14.
SCSU, which hasn’t won a match since October 9th, got a solid performance from first-year Shelby Peterson as the Carver, Minnesota native charted seven kills in the front row. Senior captain Kayla Tschida had five kills and two block assists while fellow captain Jen Waterman finished the match with 21 set assists.
The Huskies are now 12-14 overall and 7-11 in the NSIC. Coach Michelle Blaeser’s team will be in action next on Friday as they take on the University of Mary at Halenbeck Hall.
