The Huskies got a power play goal from Abby Ness with just over six minutes left in the third to cut the Friar lead to 3-2. Ness' second goal of the year was assisted by Vanessa Spataro and Skye Kelly.

The Friars last goal was scored upon an empty Husky net late in the third period.
