Women's Hockey Goes Scoreless, Still Winless
01/24/2011 - 12:30 PM
The scoreless drought continued this past weekend for the St. Cloud State Women’s Hockey team as the Huskies were swept by the University of North Dakota in a pair of 5-0 losses Friday and Saturday from National Hockey Center. SCSU now falls to 0-24-1 on the season.
The Huskies have gone four straight games without scoring a goal. The last time a Husky found the back on the net was five games ago against Bemidji State when Julia Gilbert tallied late in the third in a 3-1 loss on January 8. St. Cloud State has now not scored a goal in the last 247 minutes and six seconds.
St. Cloud will look to break that streak this weekend with a pair of home games versus Ohio State. KVSC will have the call on our webstream at KVSC.org for a 2:07 puckdrop on Friday and a 1:07 start on Saturday.
