Wrestling Remains Restless

The #1 ranked SCSU wrestling team returns home this weekend after another weekend road sweep. Last weekend the team traveled to Sioux Falls, SD to take on Augustana in a tough dual where the Huskies came out victorious 19-12. On Saturday the team was in Canby, MN for a dual with Southwest Minnesota State, SCSU won by a final of 25-13. The Huskies extended the school record-breaking dual winning streak to 43 consecutive duals. Two Husky wrestlers are also ranked at No. 1 in the nation Shamus O'Grady and Andy Pokorny, Jake Kahnke is ranked second nationally and is undefeated this season.
On Friday SCSU will host the University of Mary in Halenbeck Hall. Listen to all the action with John Peterson on the KVSC Sports Stream. Tune in to Husky Sports Friday on Friday afternoon to listen to an interview with senior wrestler Kurt Stalman and preview this weekends action.
