Every season we ask our Twitter followers who they think will score during the SCSU men’s hockey games. This season we’ve added a new twist to our “Picks to Click” segment.
We encourage fans to follow KVSC Hockey on Twitter and play along each game that we cover. The rules are simple, for bragging rights, to find out who the real ‘expert(s)’ might be at the end of the hockey season.
For each men’s hockey game that the KVSC Sports Department covers (see complete list of scheduled games here) fans can submit their picks via Twitter. Each fan is allowed to select one player as their own "Pick to Click." We’ll call for picks about two hours prior to puck drop; fans can join the fun by mentioning @KVSCHockey via Twitter letting us know what player you think will score.
Each night we’ll tally the fan votes to see what Husky has the most ‘picks.’ Whoever the fans vote for the most will be the ‘fan choice’ for the night. The fans will play against the KVSC Sports Department crew for the entire season. Each time the “Pick to Click” player scores during the game whomever selected that player during the given game will receive one point. Shoot out goals do not count towards points in the “Pick to Click” challenge, only regulation and overtime goals will count for points.
After the first weekend in the “Pick to Click” challenge Assistant Sports Director, Declan Goff, has a 2 point lead.
