1.) 1.) When did you get involved with 88.1 FM?
July of 2009
2.) What show(s) do you currently host on KVSC and what programs have you hosted in the past?
Noon newswatch program on Tuesdays as well as 12:30 feature interviews on varying dates.
3.) Please list some of the artists and musicians you consider to be a must play on your show(s)?
Cake, MGMT, Johnny Cash, Flight of the Conchords
KVSC is the most unique organization I have ever been involved with. It successfully mixes students with volunteers from the community to create a sensationally-diverse on-air product you undoubtedly won’t hear anywhere else.
5.) What is in your personal CD player, iPod, or mp3 right now (BE HONEST)?
This is difficult to say since most KVSC’ers hate country… but… lots of country!
6.) Please disclose the most embarrassing music moment or concert you’ve attended or album you’ve bought (perhaps even shameful)?
In a moment of weakness, I once downloaded the cheezy 80’s hit “Waiting on a Star to Fall,” by Boy Meets Girl.
Playing guitar, running, lifting, golf, going to concerts, commanding authority around the halls of KVSC.
If we’re talking things and not people, then this is difficult. I am a simple man without many “keepsakes.” I guess I’d have to say say my pictures, computer, cell phone, wallet, and DVD of some of my favorite stories I did as a television reporter.
10.) What do you think is the future of radio?
Radio will continue to prosper for as long as people travel in vehicles.
