1.) 1.)When did you get involved with 88.1 FM?
I am currently the host of the Tuesday Morning Show Pt. 2. However, as program director, I have pretty much hosted every show on KVSC at one point or another.
3.) Please list some of the artists and musicians you consider to be a must play on your show(s)?
The easiest answer would be Elvis Costello. His work seems to span every genre, and I am fairly certain that there is an Elvis Costello song for every show on KVSC…even the Hip-Hop show.
4.) Why are you involved with independent community radio at 88.1 FM?
I am involved because it’s the only radio station on campus. DUH!
5.) What is in your personal CD player, iPod, or mp3 right now (BE HONEST)?
In my car right now, I have Steely Dan’s “Can’t Buy a Thrill.” However, when I am drving long distances, it is always “Weird Al” Yankovic. In my iPod, I just plug in whatever is good at KVSC.
6.) Please disclose the most embarrassing music moment or concert you’ve attended or album you’ve bought (perhaps even shameful)?
I spend most of my free time at KVSC, but when I am not here, I like to watch movies, play guitar, and dance like I’m Stevie Wonder on a Trampoline.
8.) When you are not at work or KVSC, where can you most likely be found?
9.) If it were the end of the world and you could only take five things with you, what would they be (BE HONEST)?
2. The entire series of “Full House”
3. A small child
4. A weather vane
5. The tractor Richard Farnsworth drove in “The Straight Story”
10.) What do you think is the future of radio?
