Jamo_.jpg1.)    When did you get involved with 88.1 FM?

August 2005

2.)  What show(s) do you currently host on KVSC and what programs have you hosted in the past?
Newswatch. FMR – Thrivin’ on a Riff, Morning Show
3.) Please list some of the artists and musicians you consider to be a must play on your show(s)?
Nature Watch, BBC World Report, and The Loh Down On Science…again, I do the news.
4.) Why are you involved with independent community radio at 88.1 FM?
Pure awesomeness.
5.) What is in your personal CD player, iPod, or mp3 right now (BE HONEST)?
To answer this question, I took out my Droid and pushed play…the song that came up was Bobby Darin – “Dream Lover”
6.) Please disclose the most embarrassing music moment or concert you’ve attended or album you’ve bought (perhaps even shameful)
Once took an old girlfriend to Jason Mraz. Worst $90 I ever spent.
7.) What are your hobbies and interests?
Hockey, politics, and beer.
8.) When you are not at work or KVSC, where can you most likely be found?
According to Foursquare, I frequent City Hall, MC’s Dugout, and Panchero’s.
9.) If it were the end of the world and you could only take five things with you, what would they be (BE HONEST)?
I refuse to answer hypothetical questions. Considering it is the end of the world, I fail to see how any belongings would do me any good if there is no more world. Also, how do you count the five things? Would a 5 pack of Al Capone cigars count as one item or five? This question is not only irrelevant, but illogical.
10.) What do you think is the future of radio?
Radio will adapt to changing media trends as it always has. It has survived television, cassettes, compact discs, the internet, and satellite radio despite opinions to the contrary. I will still find its place and purpose in our society.
