4.) Why are you involved with independent community radio at 88.1 FM?

Working at KVSC is helping me developed skills that I had never worked with before. It is exciting to be on the air and have full control over the board and mic. Of course the people that work there are amazing!

5.) What is in your personal CD player, iPod, or mp3 right now (BE HONEST)?

Gogol Bordello, Ben Harper, Galactic, Wide Eyes, G Love and Special Sauce in the car right now. I don’t have an MP3 or iPOD anymore. I feel they shut you off from the world and limit what you listen to.

6.) Please disclose the most embarrassing music moment or concert you’ve attended or album you’ve bought (perhaps even shameful)

My first MNL show, I looked like a bug-eyed goon!

7.) What are your hobbies and interest?

Outside of music: food, cooking, wine/beer/spirits, going out on the town, cars, photography/art, randomness.

8.) When you are not at work or KVSC, where can you most likely be found?

At school, work, and with friends.

9.) If it were the end of the world and you could only take five things with you, what would they be (BE HONEST)?

Cloths, water, food, guitar, and everyone I know including the dog!

10.) What do you think is the future of radio?

I think that it will be around for a while, because it does not require you to do any work to consume it. You can listen to the radio and not have to pay it much attention, unlike other media. You can legally listen in the car and it allows you to experience music that you wouldn’t think to choose yourself. The whole music industry depends on it in one way or another.
