KVSC's award winning news department brings you 8 daily broadcasts with help from the Assosiated Press. Our comprehensive news programs Noon Newswatch is broadcast seven days a week, and the 4pm News Edition is broadcast Monday through Friday.
We also feature these deeper reaching alternative news programs:
- To The Best of Our Knowledge- Broadcast Sundays @ 12pm
- Making Contact - From the National Radio Project, broadcast Mondays @ 4:30pm
- Counterspin - Produced by Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting, broadcast Thursdays @ 4:30pm
- National Native News - Featured Mondays at 6p.m. during Anishinabe O' denong, along with Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays at 4:25p.m. It's distributed by Native Voice One.
KVSC's news department also presents educational/informational features during the week.
- Nature Watch Radio Weekdays at 7:10am, Noon Newswatch (approximately 12:15pm)
