Granny D visits KVSC Radio
Doris "Granny D" Haddock is a 94 year old great-grandmother of 16, who in 2000, at the remarkable age of 90, walked 3,200 miles from California to Washington D.C. to demonstrate her concern about big money in politics. She has inspired countless ordinary citizens of all generations to get engaged in politics to reform our democracy.
She visited with Mr. Sharp on Thursday, April 22nd of 2004 about campaign finance reform. From April 17th through April 24th, students, seniors and community members in Minnesota put on their walking shoes to walk with 94 year old Granny D in support of democracy and the Fair And Clean Elections Act.
