Central Minnesota Arts Board Providing Opportunities
Art can happen anywhere, at any time and by anybody -- the Central Minnesota Arts Board is one vehicle that has a profound impact on the arts in our communities. In this feature interview with Executive Director Leslie Schumacher, the 30-year history of the program in Central Minnesota is discussed.
Funding provided by the Minnesota State Legislature allows support for arts in public schools, arts events and numerous arts-related activities. All of the opportunities provided through the Central Minnesota Arts Board is listed on its Web site, http://www.centralmnartsboard.org/. Also discussed is the funding for the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and new programming this initiative has brought throughout all of Minnesota.
