Boys & Girls Club/Youth Supporting Youth Minnesota
In today’s Arts & Cultural Heritage news feature, Jeff Carmack explores an innovative arts program which has taken root at the Eastside Boys & Girls Club in St. Cloud. Recently, “Youth Supporting Youth Minnesota” put a little bit of funding into the Boys & Girls Club’s arts programming and now the art that was produced will be auctioned off tomorrow, Friday, April 1, during a special program being held at the Eastside Boys & Girls Club from 5-9 p.m.
Now in its second year, this program gives children in our area a chance for artistic recognition as well as the opportunity to use the proceeds from their art sales to support another youth based non-profit, Kids Against Hunger.
