St. Cloud State Drops Second In A Row At Bemidji State

The St. Cloud State Huskies fell this past weekend to the Bemidji State Beavers by a score of 17-10. St. Cloud dropped to 6-4 on the year and this was their second loss in a row.

Dwayne Lawhorn passed for 209 yards on the day but had three costly turnovers. Lawhorn did have a rushing touchdown that gave the Huskies a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter. St. Cloud would only score one more time on the day as Adam Stage hit a 19-yard field goal to take a 10-7 lead in the third quarter. Bemidji would score ten unanswered points though in the fourth quarter to put away the Huskies and move to 7-3 on the year.

On the defensive side of the ball Gary Koehring led the team with 10 tackles and senior Brady Westart added 7 tackles and 1.5 sacks. Defensive back Jeremy Koffi had an interception which gives him two on the year.

St. Cloud State will finish of the season next weekend at home against the Minot State Beavers. Minot is 2-8 on the year and are looking to improve on their 2-3 record away from home. The Huskies will try to end the season on a high note and attempt to improve their 6-4 record. Kickoff will be at 1:00PM on Saturday November 11th
