July 27 - November 25
A new pop-up exhibit from the National Archives, Rightfully Hers, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, is now available for viewing at the Stearns History Museum.
Rightfully Hers explores the history of the 19th Amendment, women’s voting rights before and after its ratification, and its impact today. The challenges of its passage reverberate to the ongoing fight for gender equity today.
The National Archives has launched a nationwide initiative and significant exhibition that explores the generations-long fight for universal women’s suffrage.
The Stearns History Museum is open by appointment only 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday with extended hours on Thursday. The exhibit is on view through November 25.
