SCSU volleyball to host October Youth Clinics
October 23 - October 24
Though the Huskies volleyball team may not officially take the court until the spring, fans will have a chance to interact with the team, as the SCSU Volleyball team hosts two youth clinics for boys and girls grades kindergarten through eighth grade.
The Fall Skills Clinics will take place on Friday, October 23 from 6 – 9 p.m and Saturday, October 24th from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Both sessions will take in place in the Halenbeck Hall gym on St. Cloud State’s campus. There is a cost to participate.
The clinics will focus on the development of the basic skills of volleyball such as serving, passing, setting, attacking and defense with Huskies volleyball student-athletes and coaches. Campers will have the opportunity to apply the skills learned through instruction during camp with various games, competitions and 6-on-6 play and will be separated into age appropriate groups.
Due to COVID-19, participants will be required to wear masks for the entirety of the event and must feel out a brief health assessment before arrival.
