Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence Exhibit

The Women’s Center at St. Cloud State University is presenting Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence.
This is a Smithsonian Institution Traveling Poster Exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment. It explores the complexity of the women’s suffrage movement and the relevance of this history to Americans’ lives today.
This traveling poster exhibition illustrates the story of women’s suffrage in connection to voting rights, inclusion in and exclusion from the franchise, and our civic development as a nation.
The exhibit is a one-day show, on Wednesday, October 21st in the Atwood Center Gallery and you can visit between 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to enjoy it. Social distancing and face coverings will be required.
