DESCRIPTION:The annual St. Cloud Area Kwanzaa Celebration will be held at Sauk Rapids-Rice Middle School on Saturday\, December 13th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. \nAttendees are asked to register in advance to help the organizers plan the event. \nThis is a community celebration of African American culture with welcomes\, performances and school and community recognitions. Dinner\, toys and other gifts will be shared following these activities. \nThe event is free thanks to the generosity of many community members and sponsors including African American Male Forum; City of St. Cloud\, Diggin’ Diversity Club – Sauk Rapids-Rice Middle School; herARTS in Action; Higher Works Collaborative; NAACP\, St. Cloud Branch; Optimist Club; St. Cloud Financial Credit Union; St. Cloud State University; Time to Evolve Coalition; United Way of Central Minnesota; Whitney Senior Center; Yiran African Arts; YouthSet\, and many more.
