SUMMARY:Stearns History Museum Presents At Home: A World War II Experience
DESCRIPTION:The Stearns History Museum in St. Cloud is hosting a two-day event where you can experience life during World War II. \nThe At Home: A World War II Experience will give visitors a glimpse of life on the home front in Stearns County. There will be family activities\, re-enactors\, demonstrations and WWII military equipment. \nThe activities are Saturday\, July 10th and Sunday\, July 11th starting 9 a.m. both days going until 4 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. \nIn addition\, the Museum will host At Ease: A World War II Evening on Saturday\, July 10th. This adult program will showcase entertainment from the era\, featuring Rock City Jazz Band.  It’s a chance to enjoy a night out with appetizers and cocktails. Jules’ Bistro will be catering food inspired by the era. DESCRIPTION:The Stearns History Museum is hosting their monthly Breakfast Club. \nJay Grammond will present One Last Time: World War II Veteran Stories at the Stearns History Museum’s July Breakfast Club. \nGrammond is a professional photographer and amateur historian\, He will share the stories of World War II veterans and survivors who participated in his 13-year-old History Series in Elk River.
