SUMMARY:Stearns History Museum: Nonprofits Launch Minnesota Voices Book Club
DESCRIPTION:The Stearns History Museum is partnering with nonprofits to launch Minnesota Voices Book Club. \nThe museum is partnering with UniteCloud to launch a quarterly book club that connects history to diversity\, equity and inclusion topics that impact the community. The first meeting features St. Cloud State University ethnic studies professor Christopher Lehman and his award-winning book\, Slavery’s Reach: Southern Slaveholders in the North Star State. \nThe free\, two-part virtual discussion is taking place on Thursday\, April 8th and 22nd starting at 6:30 p.m. Lehman will discuss the book and his research process along with a question and answer session following the discussion. \n\nRadio: We have a link to the the presentation at KVSC. org\, visit the Area Events page.
