DESCRIPTION:The Minnesota History Center in St. Paul is featuring a new exhibit–“Sinclair Lewis: 100 Years of Main Street.” \nSinclair Lewis\, born in Sauk Centre\, is arguably the most famous person to come out of Minnesota. SUMMARY:One Last Time: World War II Veteran Stories
DESCRIPTION:The Stearns History Museum is hosting their monthly Breakfast Club. \nJay Grammond will present One Last Time: World War II Veteran Stories at the Stearns History Museum’s July Breakfast Club. \nGrammond is a professional photographer and amateur historian\, He will share the stories of World War II veterans and survivors who participated in his 13-year-old History Series in Elk River. He will retell the stories of homefront workers\, Allied prisoners of war\, Holocaust and Japanese-American internment camp survivors\, and a German Soldier\, who’s entire tour was spent on the Eastern Front. \nThe event is Wednesday\, July 14 starting at 9 a.m. at the Stearns History Museum in St. Cloud. \n\nRadio: We have a link to more details at KVSC.org\, visit the Area Events page.
