DESCRIPTION:The Paramount Arts Underground offers people of all ages the opportunity to come and play in the Paramount Arts Studios every Thursday night. \nThe Paramount Arts Underground offers people of all ages the opportunity to come and play in the Paramount Arts Studios to develop artistic skills in a variety of mediums. Working with a studio mentor\, you can try your hand at throwing a bowl on the wheel\, piecing a mosaic together\, turning a wooden bowl on the lathe\, forming a sculpture out of clay or creating a painting or drawing. The Paramount has all of the supplies and equipment you need to try something new. Arts Underground welcomes teens\, adults and supervised children to come and create together. \nYou can explore Pottery\, Ceramic Sculpture\, Mosaic\, Painting\, Drawing\, Fused Glass and Wood Turning. \nThere is a weekly cost to participate.

SUMMARY:Call for Art! SCSU Student Juried Art Show
DESCRIPTION:The juried Miller Center Student Art Show at St. Cloud State University has returned. \nAny SCSU student is eligible to enter up to two pieces of art. From October 3rd through Friday\, November 4th\, artists should drop off their art at the University Library’s circulation desk on the first floor of Miller Center. \nDuring the week of November 7 judges from the Paramount Center for the Arts will select the artwork to be in the show. \nThere is a cash prize for the winner and two honorable mentions will be given.  The winners will be announced at the art show’s opening reception to be held on the far west end of Miller Center’s first floor on Thursday\, November 17 at 4p.m.  The art will be exhibited in the Miller Center as well. \n————————————————————————- \nRadio: \nWe have a link to find out more details at KVSC.org\, visit the Area Events page. \nhttps://stcloudstate.libguides.com/miller-center-student-art-show \n
