DESCRIPTION:The Paramount Arts Underground offers people of all ages the opportunity to come and play in the Paramount Arts Studios every Thursday night. \nThe Paramount Arts Underground offers people of all ages the opportunity to come and play in the Paramount Arts Studios to develop artistic skills in a variety of mediums. Working with a studio mentor\, you can try your hand at throwing a bowl on the wheel\, piecing a mosaic together\, turning a wooden bowl on the lathe\, forming a sculpture out of clay or creating a painting or drawing. The Paramount has all of the supplies and equipment you need to try something new. Arts Underground welcomes teens\, adults and supervised children to come and create together. \nYou can explore Pottery\, Ceramic Sculpture\, Mosaic\, Painting\, Drawing\, Fused Glass and Wood Turning. \nThere is a weekly cost to participate.

SUMMARY:Moments in Time Art Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The Paramount Center for the Arts in historic downtown is hosting an art exhibit called Moments in Time. \nThe exhibit features the work of Ruth Jensen McGrath. She works with watercolors\, acrylic and oil for her paintings. The artist paint whatever gives her inspiration\, often landscapes around her. The long shadows of morning or late afternoon. The changing seasons and the vast farmland or woodlands. The sky\, with it’s ever changing clouds\, with the landscape below for a feeling of aerial perspective. \nJensen McGrath’s work  is on view on the main floor of the lobby\, which you can visit for free Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. \n\nRadio: There’s more details on the Area Events page at KVSC.org.

DESCRIPTION:The Stearns History Museum invites you to enjoy their Winter Wonderland Scavenger Hunt. \nYou’ll be able to check your knowledge and learn a little about Central Minnesota’s history while exploring Heritage Park and the Stearns History Museum grounds. \nIt’s a self-guided\, free activity that is open to all and runs from December 26th to January 2nd. Scavenger hunts forms can be found at the museum during open hours or at the drop box located outside the entry doors. All completed forms will be entered into a drawing for prizes.

DESCRIPTION:A Don’t Hug Me Christmas Carol\, one of the most popular holiday shows in Minneapolis for 11 years\, is coming back to the Paramount Center for the Arts in St. Cloud. \nIt’s set in a little bar in northern Minnesota called The Bunyan in a town called Bunyan Bay and is a musical comedy with 17 original songs. It’s a hilarious Minnesota spoof of Charles Dickens’ classic story\, A Christmas Carol.
