SUMMARY:Moments in Time Art Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The Paramount Center for the Arts in historic downtown is hosting an art exhibit called Moments in Time. \nThe exhibit features the work of Ruth Jensen McGrath. She works with watercolors\, acrylic and oil for her paintings. The artist paint whatever gives her inspiration\, often landscapes around her. The long shadows of morning or late afternoon. The changing seasons and the vast farmland or woodlands. The sky\, with it’s ever changing clouds\, with the landscape below for a feeling of aerial perspective. \nJensen McGrath’s work  is on view on the main floor of the lobby\, which you can visit for free Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. \n\nRadio: There’s more details on the Area Events page at KVSC.org.

DESCRIPTION:The Paramount Center for the Arts is featuring the show\, Folsom Prison Experience. \nThe performance is a theatrical re-creation of Johnny Cash’s iconic 1968 live recording\, At Folsom Prison.  It’s a  Number 1 smash that catapulted Cash to crossover stardom and cemented his reputation as an artist who didn’t play by the conventional rules. \nBut the behind-the-scenes tales of that fateful day\, January 13\, 1968\, when Cash and his entourage put on two shows for the inmates of California’s Folsom Prison remain filled with facts and folklore.  You can  be a part of that day in musical history as an inmate! \nThe show is Thursday\, January 12th at 7:30 p.m. \n\nRadio: We have more information at KVSC.org\, visit the Area Events page.
