DESCRIPTION:The St. Cloud State University Women’s Center is hosting Women on Wednesday Reloaded: Feminist Podcast & Peer Discussion. \nThis is an informal\, peer-led opportunity for students to hang out and connect\, listen to a feminist podcast together\, and discuss emerging feminist political issues! SUMMARY:13th Annual Book Sale for Child Care Center
DESCRIPTION:The Lindgren Child Care Center at St. Cloud State University is hosting their 13th annual used book sale\, and they could use your help. \nEach year\, the Lindgren preschoolers hold a book sale in the Atwood Memorial Center. If you have any gently used books to donate you can drop them off at the Child Care Center located next to the the Engineering and Computer Center or at a number of campus departments. They do not want any textbooks. SUMMARY:Fairytale STEM Challenge at St. Cloud Library
DESCRIPTION:The St. Cloud Regional Library is hosting a Fairytale STEM Challenge. \nThey will be using science\, technology\, engineering\, and math skills to help solve fairytale problems. \nIn March the fairytale is Humpty Dumpty – Can you keep Humpty Dumpty from cracking up when he falls? \nIn April the theme is Jack and the Beanstalk – Can you help Jack Get away from the Giant? \nAll materials  are included.and the challenge is aimed at chidlren  ages 7 to 12. DESCRIPTION:KVSC invites you to laugh out loud as we welcome extremely funny guy\, C. Willi Myles.Originally from Alabama\, Myles is an SCSU alumnus who played football\, majored in psychology and theater and now tours across the country and abroad with his popular comedy performances.We’re welcoming him back to Husky Nation for An Inspiring Evening with C. Willi Myles on Wednesday\, April 5 in the Ritsche Auditorium in Stewart Hall. The show starts at 7 p.m. and is open to the campus and community. This is a free\, fun night to enjoy with friends or family. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.\n\n\n\n\nThere are no tickets to download or acquire\, just come on out to the show! \n  \nThere is FREE parking in V-lot\, N-lot (near the Education Building on 8th Ave. S) and H-lot (south of Stewart Hall) starting at 6:30 p.m. The lots with green dots below are free to park in. \nC. Willi Myles has the gift of connecting people with one other through humor and storytelling that we can all relate to. After surviving his childhood growing up with nine sisters and one brother\, Willi moved to Minnesota and brought his stories about growing up in the south and acclimating to the cold of Minnesota. He shares extremely funny\, non-offensive stories and jokes and gives a unique spin to life’s everyday challenges by applying humor to them. \n\n
