SUMMARY:Roald Dahl's "Willy Wonka" Performance in Sauk Rapids
DESCRIPTION:Better Times Theatre presents performances of Roald Dahl’s “Willy Wonka” this July at the Sauk Rapids-Rice High School‘s Performing Arts Center. \nWilly Wonka follows enigmatic candy manufacture\, as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory\, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats: the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka’s rules in the factory… or suffer the consequences. \n8 performances over two weekends. Mollie B\, a national recording musicians leads the band with 2-Time Grammy Nominee Ted Lange. \nMollie & Ted are the first and only husband and wife to be both inducted into the International Polka Association Hall of Fame.
