SUMMARY:Roald Dahl's "Willy Wonka" Performance in Sauk Rapids
DESCRIPTION:Better Times Theatre presents performances of Roald Dahl’s “Willy Wonka” this July at the Sauk Rapids-Rice High School‘s Performing Arts Center. \nWilly Wonka follows enigmatic candy manufacture\, as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory\, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats: the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka’s rules in the factory… or suffer the consequences. \n8 performances over two weekends. DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to join the Paynesville Historical Society for One Room School Days for kids. \nin this program\, children will abandon all  technology and experience an old school lesson\, play games outside and get a taste for what everyday life was like for kids more than 100 years ago. Students will learn in an actual one room school house on the grounds. \nOne Room School Days are July 20th or 27th from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The program is designed for kids ages 7 to 12 years old. \n  \n  \n
