SUMMARY:Ukrainian Students to Visit St. Cloud
DESCRIPTION:30 students from Ukraine will be visiting St. Cloud on Thursday\, September 14th\, sponsored by the St. Cloud Morning Optimist Club and hosted at Cathedral High School’s Holy Angels Theatre Complex. The 13 to 18 year old students will take participants on an emotional roller coaster as they relay a message of courage and hope for their war torn country. \nThe presentation from 11:00 a.m. to noon at Holy Angels is free and open to the general public. Pre-registration is not required. \nStudents from St. Cloud Cathedral\, Sartell-St. Stephen\, Sauk Rapids-Rice\, St. John’s Prep\, and the St. Cloud Christian School will enjoy lunch in the Cathedral Courtyard and have an opportunity to interact with each other and with the Ukrainian guests. Over 200 Central Minnesota Junior and Senior High School students are expected to attend. \nFollowing lunch\, the Ukrainian students will visit St. Cloud State University. They will return to their homeland on September 16th. \nIrina and Dick Fursman are the founders of the Global Synergy Group and organizers of the You LEAD 2023 Youth Leadership Exchange program.
