SUMMARY:HIP HOP SHOWCASE IV
DESCRIPTION:On FRIDAY\, June 27th\, we’re hosting a hip hop showcase at our new venue! Join us for a great night of local artists sharing their music. \nThis is a ticketed event. Buy your ticket ahead of time to ensure you can attend our very first show at B-Side! We do have a limited capacity. Based on ticket availability\, tickets may not be available to buy at doors. Doors open at 5:30PM\, music starts at 6:00PM. \nThis is an all-ages and SOBER event. B-Side Cafe will be serving special drinks for the event. \nLet’s meet the artists! \nYAMI DEWS // \nI am an Independent Artist out of St Cloud\,Mn. I explore a variety of different genres with a focus on hip hop. I perform my own original music. I have a passion for making music that speaks to the soul. Or makes you feel like letting loose. I am a Recovering Alcoholic with 3+ years of sobriety. I am also Bipolar and advocate for mental health awareness. I use my music to share and cope with my struggles and successes. It allows me to be present and available for those I love and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! \nA$H.WAV // \nA$H.WAV is a melodic trap and emo-pop artist from Minnesota\, blending raw emotion with hypnotic vocals and heartbreak-heavy storytelling. Inspired by the likes of The Kid LAROI\, Juice WRLD\, and blackbear\, A$H.WAV crafts songs that cut deep—balancing vulnerability with swagger\, and melody with pain. Whether he’s lost in late-night thoughts or pouring his heart out over hazy 808s\, his sound speaks to the broken\, the healing\, and the ones still caught in between. His debut album ASHFALL drops June 20\, 2025\, led by the hauntingly emotional single “Take My Soul.” \nLIL BIMMY // \nMy name is Lil Bimmy I am a rapper/ artist out of St. Cloud Minnesota. I do everything myself from making beats to writing to shooting videos. I have been doing music for almost 10 years now and run my own label called City House Records which has 2 artists signed. YMI Witless and Yami Dews. \nYMI WITLESS // \nLocated out of Saint Cloud\, MN. I perform soft hip hop to up in your face hip hop! I only perform my original music. Music is an expression of art\, and art has no rhubric. \nMEGAN OH // \nI was born and raised in Minnesota. Growing up I leaned into writing and expressing myself through poetry. That turned into a passion for creating and performing my own original music. My music comes from and is about connection\, community\, self awareness\, positivity and love. Music has always been a vital part of my life. After graduating from McNally Smith College of Music\, I moved down to Florida which has always been a second home to me. I started to attend any and all open mics. Through those many unique experiences\, I grew as an artist. As I developed new relationships\, they led me to opening a stage for Shwayze\, Afroman\, Del The Funky Homosapien\, Cambatta\, Riff Raff\, Lil Debbie and Mod Sun. I’ll always be making music\, and looking forward to creating new art through collaboration. Much love!! \nProject 37 is a non-profit with a mission to provide spaces and opportunities for all ages to enjoy music in safe and sober environments. You can help us continue that goal by coming to shows\, following us on social media\, or telling people about what we do. \nThis activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Central MN Arts Board\, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
