DESCRIPTION:St. Cloud State University’s Center for Holocaust and Genocide Education is recognizing International Holocaust Remembrance Day. \nThe day recognizes of the liberation of Auschwitz on Jan. 27\, a date the United Nations has designated as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Leading up to and around that date\, the university features an annual lecture series entitled The Scott and Lynn Bryce Lecture on Holocaust Education\, a series intended to commemorate the lives of the victims of the Holocaust and to honor the roles of the two professors who were the founders of Holocaust education at St. Cloud State.   \nThis year’s speakers are Steven Hunegs\, who is the Executive Director of Jewish Community Relations Council\, and Rebecca Erbelding\, an author\, historian\, curator\, and archivist at United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
