DESCRIPTION:A new exhibit “Resonance of Floating Bodies by Joe Smith” is now on view at the Kiehle Gallery on the St. Cloud State University campus. \nThe exhibit explores the connections between the liminal spaces between objects being and non-being. Using large-scale sculptural incubators\, Smith explores his uncanny development of labored forms as they lie in stasis. The exhibition is a quiet\, dark and meditative space that invites viewers to ponder the essence of objectivity. \nSmith is a visual artist and educator based in Minneapolis. \nThe Kiehle Gallery is located in the Kiehle Visual Arts Center on the campus of St. Cloud State. Guided tours of the Fur Post run every 30 minutes are starting at noon\, with the final tour beginning at 3 p.m..
