Iconic Music Venue Aunt Annie’s Quilts & Silks Closing due to retirement

On the eve of the quilt shop’s closure due to retirement, Arts & Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack visits Aunt Annie’s Quilts and Silks in Avon for one last time where Lucy Senstad and her husband Mopar recall how they got started with the fabric store and what led to it becoming a unique and popular music venue that has attracted national caliber folk and blues musicians. They also share some of their experiences from over the years, which turn out to be surprisingly interesting and spooky for a simple Central Minnesota quilt shop.

This program is funded in part by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Grant.
