St. Cloud State University’s Husky Bookstore has had more than $15,000 in books stolen over last month.
St. Cloud Police Lieutenant Jeff Oxton says officers were called to the Husky Bookstore located in the Centennial Hall at SCSU on February 14th in connection with a shoplifting report. Their investigation shows three men entered the store several different times and hid textbooks in book bags and left. Oxton says the camera surveillance reveals the suspects shoplifted about eight times between 5th and 17th of February. The stolen text books include chemistry, biochemistry, business law and other fields.
The St. Cloud Police department is seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the suspects. The Tri-County Crime Stoppers reminds the public that they reward for any information resulting in the arrest of the suspects.
