“Rightfully Hers” Exhibit Open at Stearns History Museum

 A new pop-up exhibit from the National Archives, Rightfully Hers, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, is now available for viewing at the Stearns History Museum.  Rightfully Hers explores the history of the 19th Amendment, women’s voting rights before and after its ratification, and its impact today. Oliver Kelley Farm to Welcome Back Visitors for Saturday Programs

Beginning Saturday, August 22, visitors can once again explore the Oliver Kelley Farm in Elk River where they can take in the beauty of the historic 1850s farmstead and trails located on the shores of the Mississippi River and get an up close view of the animals and gardens. Grab and Go Service at St. Cloud and Waite Park Public Library

St. Cloud and Waite Park Public Libraries are now offering Grab & Go service. During library hours, you can browse inside the library for books and items to check out, ask library staff questions, and pick up your holds, while keeping your visit as brief as possible. Far Away / So Close: Old Friends & New Exhibit

During a 3 month exhibition at Great River Arts, in Little Falls, Heidi Jeub will have open form conversations with friends, old and new, over technology (Zoom or FaceTime), that will inform a large painting on repurposed cardboard sheets. The exhibit, Far Away / So Close: Old Friends will be on view through September. Registration is Open for SCSU’s 2020 Virtual Homecoming 5k

St. Cloud State University is now accepting registrations for the 2020 Virtual Homecoming 5k, which is taking the place of the traditional Homecoming Run in 2020. WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN? ‘Antibodies’ on Display in Kiehle Gallery at St. Cloud State University

St. Cloud State University's School of the Arts is presenting an art exhibit. The exhibit, "Antibodies" is by artist Jessie Matthew Petersen. It features digitally-enhanced visual collages. Petersen has a  degree in drawing from Minnesota State University, Moorhead and is a Jerome Visual Arts Fellowship grant winner. The show is on display now through Friday, Oct. 2nd. The Laramie Project Presented by GREAT Theatre

The production presents a deeply complex portrait of a community’s response to the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard, a young gay man living in Laramie, Wyoming.
