The 41st American-Norwegian Troop Exchange is taking place at Camp Ripley in Little Falls.

The State of Minnesota Department of Military Affairs says 100 U.S. service members will travel to Norway to participate in summer operations training.

This is the first time the exchange has happened during the summer.

Spokesman for Camp Ripley, Maj. John Donovan says members in Norway will join the Norwegian Home Guard in military training, survival techniques and cultural events.

The exchange will continue through July 2.
