The Granite City Folk Society is hosting The Boston Imposters for a concert at Bo Diddley’s in St. Cloud.

The Boston Imposters are in reality the duo of Davey Harrison and Maire Clement, who are, despite the name, based in Wisconsin. They also really sing original and traditional material from the personal to Celtic to bluegrass, accompanied by mandolin, guitar, and banjo.

One critics writes their music harkens back to the traditional folk duos of the 1950s and 1960s, The Boston Imposters represent the genre at its most pure: two capable voices, supported by sparse-yet-effective instrumentation, working together to  earnestly share stories anyone can relate to.

Their concert is Friday, February 17th starting at 7:30 p.m.
