When and why did you get involved with KVSC?

Earlier this week I decided to get involved with KVSC. The SCSU Instagram posted about the informational meeting. Before then I had no clue that being a DJ was even an option, but now that I do know I’m super excited and interested.

What are some of the artists you consider a must-play on your show(s)?

Weezer, Pink Floyd, Momma, Radiohead, Alice in Chains, Tennis, The Marias.

What music do you listen to when not tuned into KVSC?

When I’m not tuned in, I listen to playlists on Spotify that are more vibe-focused instead of genre. However, some genres I tend to listen to a lot are metal, alternative, indie, most flavors of rock, and jazz.

What is the most embarrassing or shameful music phase you went through?

I’m not ashamed of any music phases I’ve gone through, however…. I’m not big on talking about my 90’s Brit pop phase.

What are your hobbies/interests?

I like playing saxophone and trumpet. I’m trying to learn guitar, but it’s going slow. I also crochet a lot. I’m not a huge movie-watcher, but I love horror movies. When I’m not busy doing any of that, I love going on walks and listening to music. I hit 15k-20k steps more days than not.

What would you like to be doing in 5 years?

In 5 years, I want to be tearing it up on guitar. I would also like to have a pet rat and access to a ceramics studio.
