When and why did you get involved with KVSC?

During the Fall semester. I finally had some free time and was always interested in KVSC since starting at SCSU and finally got involved.

What show(s) do you currently host on KVSC and what shows have you hosted in the past?

I am the Monday host for Alt-Shift, and I did one semester of MNL on the UTVS side. I’ve also been a host on stand-up shows including the Keller Comedy open mic and Beaver Island comedy series.

What are some of the artists you consider a must-play on your show(s)?

Weezer, Built to Spill, The Strokes, Peach Pit.

What music do you listen to when not tuned into KVSC?

Everything mentioned above but also Red Hot Chili Peppers.

What is the most embarrassing or shameful music phase you went through?

When I was 10, my favorite band was Yellowcard. I can’t even listen now without cringing.

What are your hobbies/interests?

Reading, gaming, chess, stand-up comedy, movies, Lego sets, baggy clothes, basketball.

What would you like to be doing in 5 years?

Stand-up and hosting my own podcast.
