In today’s Untold Story of Central Minnesota, KVSC Public Affairs Programming Producer Gracie J. chats with Angela Ringsmuth, the Board Chair of the Independent Music Collaborative of Central Minnesota, about the second annual Battle of the Bands.

Battle of the Bands is an original music competition for middle to high school age musicians.

This competition aims to support the revitalization of the St. Cloud Sound by giving opportunities to the next generation of musicians.

Battle of the Bands takes place at the Paramount Center for the Arts in downtown St. Cloud on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. The event starts at 6:30 p.m.
