The Murder Mystery of a Benton County Sheriff
In the 1860s a Benton County Sheriff was reportedly brutally murdered, but the details on the case are very limited throughout history, and for many years, remained a mystery to people at the Benton County Historical Society.
On Thursday, June 25, Executive Director Lacey Fontaine finally cracked the case.
In this History Mystery KVSC News Director Shay Lelonek talks with Fontaine about the case, and she shares a few shocking discoveries, including how the murder surprisingly did not make national headlines.
