ST. CLOUD, Minn.– St. Cloud State University has opened a new dedicated space designed to help transfer students successfully transition into university life.

Located on the first floor of the Administrative Services building is the SCSU Transfer Hub, which offers transfer advising, credit evaluation support, orientation help, programming and events, along with connecting them to campus resources and student organizations.

On August 31. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in partnership with community and two-year colleges

“Transfer students represent a significant and growing part of St. Cloud State,” President Dr. Gregory Tomso said. “The Transfer Hub reflects our commitment to ensuring these students have the tools, guidance, and support they need to succeed.”

About 43 percent of SCSU’s total enrollment is transfer students, and more than 2,600 students have transferred to SCSU over the past three years, increasing by about 3%.

The transfer hub will host workshops, information sessions, and community-building events throughout the academic year as part of the University’s ongoing commitment to access, student success, and degree completion.
