Live music and skateboarding collide again for KVSC’s 2^nd annual Granite City Grind. KVSC and The Youth Shelter Supply are taking over the Heritage Skate Plaza in St. Cloud on Friday, August 21^st from 4-8 p.m. (rain date of August 28^th).

Riders will compete for prize packs in head to head games of S.K.A.T.E. as well as a best trick contest. For those not skate-literate, S.K.A.T.E. is similar to H.O.R.S.E . in basketball. One rider sets a trick and the other must copy it. If they fail to match the trick, they get a letter. The elimination style bracketed game ends with the most consistent rider on top.

Even if you’re not stable on a piece of wood with four wheels, you’ll want to drop by the park around 7:00 p.m. as Minnesota’s own Carnage the Executioner performs his unique brand of hard-hitting verses, beatbox mastery, and freestyled rhymes.
