In the middle of St. Cloud State University’s Celebrate! week; the $15 million investment in the expansion and renovation of the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center goes public with a 4 p.m. grand re-opening and dedication ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 28.

KVSC will be broadcasting this ceremony live on 88.1 FM and streaming it online here. Grand re-opening speakers will include President Earl H. Potter III, Dan Brooks (Herb Brooks son) and Bob Motzko.

Once the ceremony is complete at 4:30 p.m., the KVSC Sports Department will continue broadcasting live from the Brooks Center; discussing everything Husky Sports as the public is treated to tours of the facility. 

At 5:30 p.m. the KVSC Sports Staff will go live to the Husky Stadium for coverage on 88.1FM of the St. Cloud State University Football game versus Augustana, kick-off is at 6 p.m.

Then at 6:45 p.m., the excellent Husky Sports coverage will continue as the KVSC Sports Stream will be broadcasting the St. Cloud State University Women’s Hockey game, versus the University of British Columbia, live from the Brooks Center. Yes, at this time you can listen to Husky Football on the KVSC regular stream and on the 88.1 FM airwaves, AND Women’s Husky Hockey on the KVSC Sports Stream.
