A woman was injured Friday night after an argument with her boyfriend.

St. Cloud Police say they were called to the 100 block of 4th Avenue Northeast just after 8 p.m. when 25-year-old Shawn Ronald Baker of St. Cloud allegedly assaulted his 20-year-old girlfriend with a knife. The girlfriend had non-life threatening injuries to her head and was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.

Baker had left the apartment and walked several blocks until police found him at the 600 block of 8th Avenue North. He was arrested and taken to the Benton County Jail where he is held on charges of felony domestic assault and 2nd degree assault.
