A driver fell asleep at the wheel Sunday night near Albany causing an accident on Interstate 94.

Minnesota State Patrol Sergeant Jesse Gabrow says just before 4 p.m. 66-year-old Gary Rockswold of Vining was driving west on I-94 when he fell asleep at the wheel and hit 72-year-old James Beutz of Freeport.

Rockswold and his wife Wendy were taken to St. Cloud Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
