Looking to volunteer? Want to help do your part for the planet? Great River Greening has a job for you.

University Spokesman Jeff Wood says Great River Greening is looking for 30 volunteers to help restoration efforts at Talahi Woods. The woods have been invaded by species like garlic mustard, burdock and buckthorn.

Volunteers will be removing these species by hand and disposing of them. The restoration project will be on Wednesday, May 24 from 12:30 – 4:30 p.m.
