With the growing opioid epidemic, Stearns County authorities will take your used prescriptions.

Sherburne County Sheriff Communications Specialist David Unze says The Sherburne County Government Center will open for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. People can stop by and safely drop off unused or unwanted prescriptions.

Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, October 28, and runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Police departments in Big Lake and Beck will open at the same time.
